Like Erickson, he sits because inserting him would
hurt our team stability, I think.
Everyone getting time right now is seen as at least contenders for Pope's final, ideal rotation. Even if guys are making a case to be inserted, I think Pope is leery of expanding his rotation candidates at this point of the season.
