pretty much the whole second half of Utah due to conditioning and leg cramps as they mounted a huge comeback. And St. Mary’s is not as good this year.

Don’t get me wrong. I love the grit of this year’s team and the results. But there’s more than the eye test and records that makes me think last year’s team was better at the end of the year.

I’d love to be wrong, but unless this year’s team gets better I see us losing a close first round NCAA Tournament game. And last year had a reasonable expectation of the sweet sixteen.
