That is like saying BYU played Idaho State last year so their schedule sucked
You can’t take one of the worst songs in a genre (sure some people might like it, just like Idaho State has fans) and then judge the whole genre by that bad song.
I don’t love the new country, but I find the Texas country scene quite enjoyable.
