I think you just made my point. The teams that ran had more success.
UTSA kept the game closer and so did SDSU and Houston. Until the fourth quarter in the Houston game BYU offense had been limited.
It wasn’t until BYU offense started scoring and the defense started blitzing did things change at Houston.
Navy was an outlier because BYU didn’t do the drop eight and was extremely aggressive which the main problem is the drop 8 defense vs the run.
