He should know he could fill in nicely for Dax, & up & grab the #1 option WR.
He could bring a level of athleticism & skill to that spot that can't be denied, I think.
I am expecting big things outa Epps, too, though. He's not as explosive as Nacua, but he's longer, has huge hands, & might be quicker than Puka.
