Jones seems to have raw measurables to me. He's bigger and longer than Udo and
has similar speed.

I agree that his film is not overly impressive, but he's big, fast, and physical. He's also new to football and has the raw measurables to be a D1 guy. Of course, he could also be a bust and out of the program in a couple years, but our coaching staff has to take some of these chances on low floor high ceiling guys.
Udo's film was also somewhat concerning IMO because he was playing more of an OLB/rush end while his size would necessitate that he transition to DB. I love that the coaches took a chance on him and think Jones could be similar down the road (perhaps as an OLB or safety/LB hybrid).
