thousands of dollars a year and we don't have a large garden, just 5 4x4 boxes. But we have tons of fruit trees, berries and nut trees. If we had just a little more space, I would go all in on a garden. Why spend money on food, when you can get the bulk of your produce from home? Besides, there is a huge amount of security knowing that you can become more self-suffiecient.

Oh and our neighbors are all about the extra berries, tomatoes and fruit we share. How often does someone show up on your front porch with $20 worth of raspberries?
