i was reading from the Athletic that many schools will have more than usual

returning starters, since many players from around the country will come back for the extra year that was given due to Covid.

BYU's players largely are not taking that opportunity, and are choosing to move on with life (NFL or just to get out of college).

I think BYU will have a learning curve, and BYU will be back to 2019-type success. a few big wins, a few head-scratching losses, competitive in most games.
