We took our son on a senior trip here a few years ago. This is a must https://www.puertoricodaytrips.com/las-paylas/ we spent the day exploring around the rain forest. I wish our younger kids would have been there, they would have loved the lizards, water slides and jumping off the rocks. We took a day trip to Flamenco beach, it is one of the top beaches in the world, well worth it. I would love to go back, I liked Puerto Rico better than Hawaii.
