Any advice on setting up 529 plans for tuition expenses for your kids?

I’m just looking into this. Think it would be a great place to save as my wife and I are getting ready to start a family.

We are hoping to get a puppy this spring, and I would like to send her to the best puppy training school available. Wondering if a 529 plan would be appropriate here. Thanks!

Pretty sure 529s are after-tac contributions. Growth is tax free though

Some allow for small state tax breaks. Not a lot though.

Invest in plan that allows student to attend in any state, such Fidelity's 529

If in utah, use the usep plan. Virginia has a great plan also that you can use.
