the games are being played, so building use costs and people associated with that are already being paid as are the folks associated with broadcasts. Use 2 entrances and limit the crowd to a few thousand - I think even limiting the crowd to students would be fine - and the only added costs are a few ticket takers, a janitorial crew, and maybe another security person or two.
