Almost complete reversal of last yr where our resume was worse than the quality
of our team. We finished #9 in NET and #13 in KenPom but had so many close losses our our KPI/SOR were around 30 which put BYU in line for a 5-6 seed.
This season the predictive measures don’t like us near as much—KenPom has BYU at 48, BPI 36, but our resume/results metrics are way stronger SOR/KPI is at 15/16.
Not a bad place to be as result metrics have a higher correlation with selection/seeding than quality metrics.
