guards like Chris Paul. But the thing is that he is a wing and I don’t see him guarding up in size much like wade did. That works for the jazz cuz they run a drop defense without much switching, but in a switch heavy defense Mitchell would have to guard up to big small forwards and he might struggle there

Tatum can guard at least three positions and up to cover stretch fives. He guards the best players in the nba—KD, lebron, kawhi, etc. he can still switch down or switch up. Those are things I don’t see Mitchell doing.

So while I agree Mitchell can be a very impactful backcourt on ball defender, that s his ceiling. Tatum is already way mor impactful than Mitchell’s ceiling
