Agree with your general sentiment but i saw her interview live and you misread
entirely what she was talking about.
She was referring to the purposes for standard temporary halts to trading when a stock goes up or down rapidly and crosses certain thresholds. It's standard protocol. Happens a quite a bit. Halt trading for 15 minutes or an hour to take a little emotion out of the market. No big deal.
Chamath's interview today advocating for the little guy was more important.
What Reddit and Discord did today to shut people up is really screwing the little guy.
This NASDAQ interview was a nothing burger.
