If INVESTORS only ever invested until a company had the money they were valued at then what is the point in INVESTING?

Answer that one for us oh wise one, Scott. That CNBC guy was a joke. That is the whole premise to how Wall Street came to be. Companies needed investors so those companies would have more working capital so the company could use that capital to improve and become more profitable. Investors gave the companies more money than they were currently worth because they felt the company had potential to grow and eventually be worth more than they even invested. Over time the investment would be paid back and then some. Scott is a genius!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️
