there are trades where you can lose more than you invested. If the move is the stock is violent enough and they (or
you) can't close the trade fast enough, then the account goes negative.
If it's true that RH isn't allowing people to buy the stock (no margin involved)... then I don't understand that move and will be eager to hear their reasoning.
