once in getting around a double screen for Ross. Ross missed the 3 though. Another guy beat him once for a floater. Once he got beat because pepperdine got the O-rebound and he was not focused enough to stay with Ross who zipper to the basket.

However, I saw no glaring lack of X's and O's or team concepts on offense or defense that others seem to be alluding to. he did not tear it up in his 3 minutes. i think overall the team was a -1 in his 3 minutes on the floor.

But also now he got his psyche messed with. he did not play great, but not so bad that he deserved 0 minutes the rest of the game. Instead now he'll just feel even more pressure the next time he steps on the court wondering if one turnover means he is done for the game.

George has a higher ceiling than all of our wings and guards. he is definitely rough around the edges now.

But it sure sucks when he is benched for "win-now" mode and then the guys who do get playing time fail to beat a .500 Pepperdine team.
