There’s a misconception about “hyper competitive” people. Being competitive
doesn’t mean you “can’t lose.” It means you want to compete. You want to play the best. You’re willing to lose because that means you tested yourself and competed against the best. Mark Pope is a very good example of a “hyper competitive” person. He is willing to lose if that means he’s playing the best and competing. He’s not going to schedule cupcakes just so he can win. That’s what Bennett does. Not being able to lose doesn’t mean you’re super competitive. In fact, it’s the opposite. It means you have problems. It means you’re willing to not compete if that increases the odds that you will win.
