iCloud keychain syncs more than just passwords.. It syncs Credit Cards, WiFi settings, Bluetooth devices, System settings, and more. If you have more than one apple device you really should have it turned on anyway. It's part of the magic sauce that makes being in the Apple ecosystem so great.

With the new chrome extension, it's more useful as a cross-platform 'password manager' now.
