It's for a golf outing and when you add in the price of a checked golf bag and possibly one other bag, no one else was even close. I agree that they can usually be beat if you are not checking bags but if you are they are usually hard to beat.

Answer to the original question, my wife and I travel quite a bit. Well, we did before covid. Not as much as I did when I was working, but a lot. We book out on one airline and back in on another all the time.
