For a couple of years at least. I bet when the GX460 retires it will be the last of the Toyota V8s
The Tundra will come out this year (or is it early next?) with TT V6 and the Land Cruiser will be discontinued (only diesels in foreign markets).

This leaves the smaller displacement V8s used in the sedans (low volume) and the GX460 (more volume).

Fortunately, the 4Runner redesign isn't for a few more years, and I doubt Toyota will engineer the current 460 to take the TTv6 in the interim, so you'll have the V8 for a few more years.

And then you'll have to see what Chevy/Ford/Dodge do with their muscle cars and trucks. It's nice to see Caddy come out with a high end sport sedan with the V8 too.

That's my guess anyway.
