Personally, I think he would not have played for any other team
WFT did not have a choice when they put him in. Haskins proved he couldn't do it. Kyle Allen broke his leg. Smith got really lucky with the situation that allowed him to play. He is no where near the level he was before he was hurt. He won some games but statistically about the same as Haskins.
