Pope knows what to say.
I do understand his wife does like BYU & Utah County. She liked it when her dad was an assistant at BYU.
Saying that the guy chose to not serve a mission because it would harm his hoops career. He jumped to Kentucky as a player for a chance to win it all. He was accepted at Columbia Medical School. He brought 3 transfers from UVU. Mark Pope wants to win at the highest levels and he is smart. If BYU cannot legitimately satisfy that desire to conquer the world- what about his history makes folks think he stays?
