We should discourage rentiers capitalism. The few are enriched while making
it harder for the poor and working class to accumulate wealth and leave poverty. RE “investment” enriches the few without increasing gdp; it’s very close to a zero sum game.
RE “investment” is not innovation. It is not investment in capital that produces a return that benefits the country.
