I went to an event where the President of GM South America Said in one year Lyft
And Uber will be picking you up with self driving cars. He made a lot of good points and it all seemed very reasonable and likely to happen. He said CAAS was the model of the future and that GM would soon be looking at their business in terms of miles driven rather than cars sold.
That was five years ago, I believe it could happen and likely is the future but am skeptical when I hear quick timelines.
