I agree, to maximize him you need to surround him with shooters
On the other hand, trading for Lowry would give them a lineup of (assuming they keep Curry):
40% from 3 on 7.1 attempts per game
45% from 3 on 4.5 attempts per game
42% from 3 on 4.2 attempts per game

40% from 3 on 2.8 attempts per game
Maybe not the perfect situation, but that’s pretty darn good, and still gives you Simmons to guard opponent’s best 1-4 and be effective in transition.
