The biggest questions for people around here (Atlanta area, so SEC country and Falcon fans who generally prefer Fields to him as a draft option) relate to his track record.

Not a knock on him per se, but more just some unknowns. Basically that he came out of nowhere and put up big numbers against abysmal* competition. Doesn't mean he's not a good option in their eyes, just a lot more unknown and associated risk.

*Keep in mind, this is SEC country and they believe Big12 defenses are pretty weak competition, so you can imagine how they feel about Texas-San Antonio and North Alabama.

It's also not strictly true that he came out of nowhere, but I understand why they would think that. He had a good freshman year when you consider that we was a freshman, but it wasn't otherworldly compared to more experienced starters. Then as a sophomore, he was hurt and mediocre.
