I think Pope's misgivings were more to do with the disorganization & lack of resolve within the Conf — & also the prospect of the Zags not participating.

I think Pope wanted ALL of the games we can get. He knows his team has PLENTY of things to work on before we go Dancing.

Drop has more to do with teams like SDSU/Colorado jumping BYU w/better wins.
