we booked $275 r/t to Maui from Oakland, with a companion pass for $11.
Little bit of a hassle getting tested 72 hours prior, but as you point out, not as tough to deal with as Kauai is right now. Maybe in a few months the whole testing thing will be over for Hawaii. If you're a Southwest user at all, book the flights while they're cheap now and decide later, you can always get flight credits.
