E Millsap quote is interesting and makes me feel a bit better about him.
"Obviously, I know my truth," Millsap said in an interview with The Associated Press. "Some outside counsel or somebody, all they can do is just try to stir it up and make [me] look as if I'm lying. I did it basically to free myself from the torture of holding things in, to free myself, not to make Dennis Lindsey feel bad and not to make him look like a racist. I don't feel he is a racist, but I do know what he said to me."

I have felt the same way a bit. That even if Lindsey said what he claimed he said that it doesn’t somehow immediately make him racist. It could make clear he is a hard nosed jerk. But I could just as easily imagine some white player interrupting something he is saying and him say, “Shut up or I’ll cut your white a** and send you back to Texas.” or whatever.

Seems like Millsap has the context and judgment that just because someone says something like he claimed he said doesn’t mean they have some specific racial animus and that racism isn’t a single poor use of words it’s an actual feeling or thought pattern. One that Lindsey may have for all I know, but likely does not. But may easily have a harsh tone when interrupted.

I could also easily see him having a big ego and feeling like he is the boss and they are the employees and employees don’t interrupt their bosses unless they want to get verbally smacked down.

Anyway. I wasn’t there and have no idea what happened or what is in the guy’s heart. But I liked that Millsap’s quote shows better understanding of actual racism than the hyped up media ever shows.
