BYU is a unique institution sponsored by the Church. Recruiting and team standards must reflect the mission of the church and university. A nonmember head coach would have so many challenges to navigate missionaries, standards, spiritual development etc etc. this topic comes up 2 or 3 times a year. Stop wasting everyone’s time posting this topic!
