Neither game is going to move to a different quad at this point no matter how much the team wins or loses between now and selection Sunday. From a metrics standpoint it will have almost no effect as well. However, when the selection committee considers us, they will be looking much more heavily at who our only blowout losses are to (USC and Gonzaga) and it is best if those are very good teams. They will not pay attention to whether Utah is an upper level quad 3 game or a medium level quad 3 game.
