Officially, It can be recorded. But I won't do that unless I discover there is a history and pattern of plagiarism. Luckily, and unlucky for this student, there is a group of three professors that this student has to get through in order to get to their desired program. If there has been history with the other professors than I will report it to the college. Otherwise, the hope is that this student won't do it again - especially if they have to take me again when they repeat the class. That's always fun.
