We always stay on the North side of the island and drive right past it coming/going to Costco. It's not out of the way if you headed that way. They have the Dole Whips and some free demos in the store, but guessing those aren't going on right now. The train and the maze aren't really worth the time or money as posted above, but it's a quick in and out and you can see a couple of the plants without going any further than just walking about the main area.
