No, but there’s also little evidence that is publicly known that Holliday
deserved to be fired. Other than Utah’s passing game sucking, which isn’t unusual at Utah and shouldn’t fall squarely on the shoulders of a WR coach. Doesn’t mean there wasn’t a legitimate reason to let him go.
On the other hand, Scalley called a recruit the N word, said it in a text to the recruit while intending to send it to other coaches. Not saying he necessarily should have been fired, but there was at least a legitimate reason to do so if Utah had chosen to take that route.
I don’t think Leslie is implying that Utah fired him because they’re racist, but that there’s a double standard when considering how the two coaches were treated.
