I remember LSU playing an exibition game at BYUH. We had a chance to win but
coach put in his "favorite" hustle guy who was only about 5'6" and could only dribble right handed. He came back into the game in a tie with about a minute left and promptly gave the ball to LSU who went down and scored each time. He threw it away once, dribbled it out of bounds once and the worst thing he did is drive right at Shaq and try to score over him. Shaq blocked him without even jumping and collected the ball at the same time and through it out for a fast break layup. I seem to remember we lost by those six points but there might have been some foul shots at the very end I don't remember. Mr "go right" gave up the ball three times in a row on three consecutive possessions in the last minute or so and that was game. I think it was in 1989 or 1990 but I can't find anything on the game. I saw something once but it too some serious digging and didn't have a lot on the game. But it sure was a fun game until that last minute. LMU had a heck of a couple of games vs LSU back then. LMU was ranked #20 I think when they lost to Shaq and LSU 148-141 in OT.
