But I have been watching/listening to his podcasts for a couple years and find him very reasonable. His position rankings have been as accurate as any other talking head out there. For QB's, he is big on arm talent and decision making. He has a man crush on Rodgers and Mahomes. Any qb that comes along with some of their attributes is going to get noticed by him.

Fwiw, Lawrence does have mechanical issue imo. Going back to last year's national championship, he started out looking electric and all of the sudden could not hit the broad side of a barn. He was literally throwing passes ten feet over the head of his receivers on ten yard outs. His mechanics do fall apart occasionally. Simms really liked that Wilson's "bad" game was Coastal Carolina and he still made some highlight throws in that game that were better than the highlight throws off many of the other prospects in ANY of their games.
