Not saying commandments changed, but significant aspects of church related life and ordinances have changed over time. These changes are partially based on surveying/ interviewing members, finding out what people like, don't like. More importantly what things they find truly bothersome and quite uncomfortable. I'm not old, but there have been at least 3 significant, memorable changes to temple ceremonies in my temple attending life of about 30 years. The church based some of those changes on these interviews and surveys.
