I paid 750 for my golden about 15 years ago and thought it was too much.
But we've been thinking about getting another dog now that ours has been gone a couple of years, and they're five or six thousand dollars around here. I'm thinking about using some CC points and flying down to Mexico to get one. Look at these prices for example. Those are pesos, so divide by 20, and you get some for under $1,000 USD.
