The queen is worth in the neighborhood of about $500 million dollars. Prince Charles north of $100 million.
The crown itself (which is NOT the government) is worth about $10 billion.
That’s what happens when your g’g’g’grandparent owned an entire country. When the magna carta was created it recognized the personal property of both the nobility and the king. Actually that was the point of the document.
