I hope that punishes them but they also each have 10+ Q1/Q2 wins and against multiple tourney teams. Good wins can overcome bad losses because they prove capacity to beat good teams.
They also have stronger quality metrics than BYU. All depends on what factors will get the most weight. Still some solid resumes in the 5-7 range that stack up well against BYU. 6 is just such a better position than a 7 or 8.
Huge week ahead and no matter what BYU does there will be a lot of potential for movement in either direction depending on how other teams fare.
