This is a UVA fan who (best I can tell) lives in the DC area. Previous "inside" information includes Gerald reporting that a coworker who is Reno Mahe's neighbor was told (by Mahe) that Mahe is incompetent and unqualified. Or when he reported USC was about to hire a BYU grad - only the hiring had been announced the day before that.

I also particularly liked when Gerald mocked someone for not realizing how low the pay was for BYU professors. Only to have a BYU professor point out that Gerald was completely wrong about the whole thing.

This is OPs schtick. He throws bold claims out there (recently argued that the Jazz will never make the WCF with Gobert, so TBD on that one), argues loudly, insults those who disagree, and then keeps a running tally of his hits while conveniently ignoring his many misses.
