Connor's guy was outa play on the inbound pass. That leaves --guess who?-- wide open if Spence successfully jumps the pass.
There's a reason Spencer (& now Gideon) get the majority of minutes against certain teams. But I think Pope gives Connor & Knell all the minutes he can against backcourts they can hold their own against. He needs everyone playing fully confident when their number's called. Connor's fresh legs were vital in that overtime.
