Well, not exactly. It’s a pool of SM held in a developer wallet. It allows for a smoother response to buy/sell
transactions. Instead of pancake swap having to match individual buyers with individual sellers, it allows for transactions to be fulfilled much more rapidly and smooths the ebbs and flows to some degree. It’s an essential aspect to ensure that a new crypto remains viable long term. The liquidity pool remains locked to the developers until 2025 and can only be used for providing liquidity to buys and sells within the project.

Not having an adequate LP is one of the reasons new cryptos boom and bust without being able to gain traction long term. These developers are smart. They established a framework that gives SM a shot at being long term viable.
