I'll take whatever scrap we can!
Fans can complain Pope didn't make a run with our Cougs, but they can't say his team missed out on experiencing big time NCAA ball on the "down" year.
We faced some great teams this year — & didn't embarrass ourselves ever, really. USC was bad, but we rebounded very well from that. We got solidly beat by UCLA — but gave 40 minutes of fight to an obviously very talented team.
