As hard as it would be to have made that decision and then rethink it, its harder for me to imagine these two guys just stoking the fire for entertainment value if they weren't legitimately considering returning.

While I've met a few narcissistic people in my life who seem to just want to be wanted, I'm betting that these guys are just feeling the pull of their teammates and a very persuasive coach, and reconsidering their options to try to assess what would be the best for them.
