There are a number of legitimate companies with very good products out there...not pyramid, no need to buy "inventory", no need for autoship, etc. I probably used to think similarly to you but then my wife started using products that helped her...and it didn't hurt that 6 months later she reluctantly started selling it, making good money now for over 4 years.
I mean is the Amazon distribution and selling process better? They absolutely gouge companies. How different is it than having the CEOs and top management rake in big bucks at corporations? Do little corporate guys get legitimate chances to climb the ladder? My experience has shown that, at times, as one climbs the corporate ladder, someone is knifing them in the back trying to pull them down, and doing their best to protect their fiefdom. I haven't seen that at all within the company my wife reps. In fact, I see those that join late and still climb to the top pretty quickly. But I definitely give direct sales a leg up on "work hard, play hard".
