COVID made factories shut down and because they were unsure if they would need to be shut back down again they stayed closed for an extended period of time until they knew for sure they wouldn't be shut down again.
Trump tariffs were keeping wood imports from Canada from coming in. I can't remember the exact issue but there was an issue there. To overcome this they were using wood from Northwest. The trees are less mature and don't produce as much product from a single tree which hurt the quantities being produced. On top of that because of additional regulations in the U.S. it costs more to produce a product.
