For me the biggest takeaways are
1) This perfectly describes where BYU is. P5 teams play 80% vs P5, Notre Dame does similar. BYU schedules 50% G5, 50% P5, meaning we're in a weird limbo area where we're clearly not G5, but also clearly not P5. BYU is unique and the hardest to define as every other Indy falls clearly into one of those designations.
2) The difference between "games scheduled" and "games played" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this article. Which is fair, since it represents what BYU is trying to do. Fully half of those 26 P5 games haven't happened (6 for 2020, 7 for 2021) which leads to the disconnect between how this portrays BYU ("more P5 than G5 scheduled opponents!") and how most non-BYU fans view the team ("good, but don't play real teams")
