If she’s cycling with real fevers, a visit to an infectious disease doc
There are some weird parasites that could cause long-term symptoms and cyclical fevers.
Maybe a visit with rheumatology to evaluate for auto immune disorders.
Honestly, this may all be related to IBS or some relative and it will have no definitive test or answer. But to get to that point, you sometimes have to go through some additional testing to make sure that it isn’t something more.
